We offer robust baked goods that can be summed up as powerful baked treats.
Our concept revolves around providing guilt-free treats that evoke art, aiming to bring healing, joy, and delight to those who enjoy them. We use no wheat flour, eggs, dairy, white sugar, preservatives, artificial flavors, or coloring agents.
Instead, we carefully select organic herbs and spices whenever possible.

A'bake is dedicated to supporting animal welfare organizations through the creation of treats that are gentle on both bodies and the environ-ment, with a portion of our sales proceeds donated accordingly. Since 2024, we've taken a zero-food-waste approach, ensuring that any leftover cookies are redistributed to various locations, primarily focusing on children's support facilities. This initiative reflects our commitment to sustainability and creating a circular economy.

A'bake began its journey in April 2020 from a room in a condominium located in Midori Ward, Yokohama, with designer and director Yuki Abe at the helm, leading the conceptual activities of "A'bake." Without a physical storefront, their products were sold exclusively through pop-up events and an online store. They later expanded their reach by collaborating with a variety of artists and brands throughout Japan.
In August 2022, the brand underwent a rebranding from "A'BAKE" to
'A'bake" and initiated donation activities directed at animal protection organizations, beginning with a collaboration with singer-songwriter Ayano Kaneko.
By April 2023, their base of operations had moved from Midori Ward Yokohama, to Meguro Ward, Tokyo. There, they launched "A'shop," which proposed a new model that transcended traditional confectionery boundaries. This model not only emphasized taste but also visual and sensory experiences, offering products such as silver jewelry, silverware, pottery, paintings, tea, and more to enrich the enjoyment of sweets. Additionally, they offered services like workshops, matchmak-ing, and the development of confectionery recipes, thereby broadening the possibilities associated with sweets.
In August 2023, A'bake Co., Ltd. was officially established.
By February 2024, they had transitioned to a self-managed online store, A'bake / A'shop, equipped to handle international orders. They also embarked on wholesale distribution both domestically and inter-nationally, with happa to mame, a Japanese tea café based in Poland, becoming their first international stockist. Domestically, their first stockist was for botanical, an Osaka-based concept shop specializing in plant-inspired goods and experiences.
In October 2024, A'shop opened its first physical storefront in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture.
By July 2025, A'bake independently published "THE EDIBLE OBJECTS", their first art recipe book, marking a new creative milestone for the brand.
