Sorry Vienna

This bilingual anthology (German / English translations by Caroline Schmidt and Shane Anderson) takes readers from the Institute of Language Arts to the Burgtheater and then to the Wurstelprater. Sorry Vienna includes an obituary for Mörtel Lugner as well as one for the good old days, accompanies a drinking tour with fraternity members, a detour to a travel agency, and a trip at the public pool. Traces of the past meet the monsters of the present. And rightly so, the question arises: who goes on holiday if they already live in Vienna?
After Sorry Siracusa, Sorry Vienna marks the second stop of the nomadic Sorry Press Writers Residency. At each destination, an anthology of short stories by local and guest authors is created. Over time, a library of literary travel guides emerges.
