SIX THINGS I'M LEAVING BEHIND IN COLLEGE

Consisting of six photographs of items and places the author has left behind in Philadelphia upon his graduation from university, each with a description of their personal value, SIX THINGS I’M LEAVING BEHIND IN COLLEGE seeks to directly draw into question the assertion that our college years are the “days of our lives,” examining the collective experience through the physical and emotional detritus left behind. Yet, while a skepticism is inherent to the project, it avoids overt cynicism; approached with a legitimate curiosity, this zine aims to neither confirm nor deny the assertion’s truth, but only note for the record the truth of the experience without claiming to know its significance.
