Pourquoi o mal?

Pourquoi o mal? was written for the exhibition "El Mal de Escritura: um proyecto sobre texto e imaginación especulativa", at the Center for Studies and Documentation of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA), in 2010. Installed on the entrance wall of the exhibition, the text of the danish artist Jorgen Michaelsen discusses about the civil obedience of representation and how much, in one way or another, it remains attached to the structure of language. In the same year, Jorgen Michaelsen entrusted us with the publication and circulation of this text in this bilingual edition (Portuguese/English).
