Paintings 2019 - 2024

Paul Ouwerkerk deconstructs the bodies of Mathematics with Poetry. He makes them appear as unfolded models. He shapes variations of the theme as possibilities within the narrow rules of the game. A coolly distant opening becomes interestingly charged with emotions as it expands to include random connections, intuitively chosen colours and surprising contradictions between spatial and colour perspectives.
