7 DOI CAN CA TRU Doi Can is the name of a Hanoi street where a temple is located in which various CA TRU singers and musicians were celebrating the birthday of an old musician and that was my introduction to Thi Chuc who is singing far away with a dan dai player and a drummer. It is mixed with recordings at THI CHUC s home outside of Hanoi. She was 85 years old and started at the age of 12 , she represents an old subtle and soft way of singing ancient chinese poetry in Vietnamese language, the art of CA TRU, here with a 30 years old DAN DAI player + electronic 2010
