The catalogue for the first in a series of three exhibitions, ‘Magnificent Obsessions’, curated by Michael Connor, illuminates ten stories of craftsmanship within filmmaking, each linked to the Persol brand. From the perspective of iconic films such as ‘The Darjeeling Limited’, ‘Blue Velvet’, ‘Vertigo’, ‘Taxi Driver’, ‘Marie Antoinette’ and ‘Brazil’, it offers behind-the-scenes research notes, sketches, interviews, stories and materials used in the development process by some of the world’s most influential filmmakers.
