Artist Book

Edition of 20

Our skin is a daily utensil, a vessel
for our soul, our vehicle.
When the inside of our skin is
portrayed on the outside, it becomes
art.
A vessel that we sculpt with time,
changing, fragile, each person leaves
us their imprint.
Tattooed skin speaks for itself,
functions as an archive of memories,
experiences, sensations, feelings, it’s
intimate, personal and unique.

Societies in movement,
cultures, people influenced
by everything that surrounds
them. We all leave our mark.
Inner landscapes coming
to the surface. They want
to express themselves,
communicate with what
surrounds them.

The person that tattoos
becomes an artist,
meaning the tattooed
body becomes a moving
museum-landscape, a
breathing, living space
that reflects, exchanges,
connects.

What is your perception
of skin, tattooed skin?
How are these ideas
implemented into your
project?
