“MS TREUE + TROJA TREUJANISCH
MS FIDELITY + TROY = TREUJANISCHE

There have always been networks: social, cultural, geographical ones and those real tangible ones of trade and the movements. Today, the pathways within the network are as invisible as the defense and control of the network. The Trojan Horse was an ambush, a deception, a disguise, a con trick, smuggled into the center of town, a device used to overcome the insurmountable walls of the city of Troy. We find ourselves today under siege in the center of the town and there are many different forms of metaphoric walls to be overcome. The walls or barriers that separate people, populations, the walls in the mind. The Trojan Horse appears in the network as voyeurism, the illicit, peep shows, without being obvious. It remains concealed in deception, the guise of the cloak and dagger, the hidden assailant in the center of the scene, the concealed heart, the surf in a network. It confuses the network in total impunity, concealed and unknown in the costumed disguise of the masquerade.
Within the network, people remain anonymous. They have no disembodied faces and dislocated voices on a telephone. Within the World Wide Web, news are erased as they occur. There are no true stories on the network. Forgotten as they are conveyed, images fade away, disseminate. There are no visible traces, or tracks that could be followed. Imprints vanish like footsteps in the constantly shifting
sand. Everything is a mirage there is nothing to see or remember. Personal memory erodes with accelerated disintegration like ancient ruined cities and statues, lost in an overgrowth of the jungle and time lapse rates. There are no signs of gradual aging and none serving as visual markers that make memory tangible and visible.
History unto this point has always been tangible and visible as we observe it in the cycle of pictorial representation as a landscape painting - a tangible representation of a changing environment. This is where the genesis of a new way of thinking in terms of the WWW could take place. In our network we want to realize real pathways and visions. The advent, the sunrise, the dawn of an new era, the golden age should be visible as a tabernacle of culture, a treasure ship of heritage, not merely reams of text as disposable as toilet paper.
The real and true should become a recipe for life in preference to ‘laisser vivre’, a negative quality, or even a disadvantage for this ‘do what you want, but nobody cares’, this ‘nobody is responsible’. Make things come alive. People need more than you think.”
