“The publication Chewing the Scenery is published as a separate contribution to gelichnamigen exhibition, which is part of the Swiss contribution to the 54 Venice Biennale is. Over the duration of the exhibition, the publication is developed and published in three revised and expanded editions. According to this process-based working method, each issue is an incomplete whole and opens perspectives on the complex issues outlined field. This publication contains three major contributions of Maria Iorio / Raphaël Cuomo, Uriel Orlow and Eran Schaerf. Gathered Besides these three artistic contributions to the publication texts of Antke Engel, Mathias Danbolt, Patricia Purtschert and Ann Cvetkovich and an introduction by Andrea Thal and a conversation with Tim Zulauf. The loosely clasped contributions of publication be expanded in the following editions and new texts , for example of Rubia Salgado supplemented. The second edition of the book will be published on the events that take place in September at the Teatro marble floors, the third includes material contributed to the exhibition and the events, and is released in November, after the end of the exhibition.”
