Before the Sun: Late Culture in the American Bottom (Vinyl LP)

This 12″ vinyl LP, produced with Karthik Pandian’s 2010 exhibition at Midway Contemporary Art, features text and sound explorations by Eric D. Clark, Claude Lévi-Strauss, Karthik Pandian, Joe Sanfelippo and John White. The accompanying catalog insert illuminates Pandian’s work through essays by Jason E. Smith and anthropologist Michael Taussig, poems by Amy Gerstler and Barry MacGregor Johnston, and illustrations including four full color plates.
