BB2: FROM BREMEN TO BASEL

This is trip-based publication project “BB2:Bremen to Basel”. During the project, a group of students from PaTI(Paju Typography Institute) visited Bremen, Berlin, and Basel to open up liberal conversations on the independent publishing scenes from different cultural backgrounds.
During the program, PaTI students had a collaborative workshop with Fresh Prints, student publishing group from the University of the Arts Bremen to participate together at “I Never Read”, which was sponsored by Basel School of Design.
The goal was to tie different works from three schools—PaTI, Basel School of Design and University of the Arts Bremen—by creating an identity which represents the uniqueness of each school as a combination of three words.
The documentations of the trip which was composed of interviews, direct experience on book fairs, workshops and the conversations on the idea of independent book publishing will later be collected and published by PaTI as the book “BB2:Bremen to Basel” in 2017.
