1-800-SANDALS reclaims the Sandals Resorts brand of all-inclusive tropical vacation destinations as a vague, spiritual resort with healing practices guided by “Spa Shamans”.

1-800-SANDALS attempts to eradicate the innate desire to explain why strangers make decisions that are not easily explained. Instead a plastic narrative of spirituality is used to shape an alternative reality that attempts to break down the barrier between normal and abnormal behavior as defined by popular beliefs within society. Actions captured in photos that don’t fall within popular societal norms can be rationalized through the 1-800-SANDALS narrative of spiritual experiences and metaphysical exploration.
