The concept behind it is beautifully simple: one issue, one person, one interview \u2013 no more, no less. (www.mono-kultur.com)<\/p>\n Wednesday 17.12.2008: Spike.<\/strong><\/p>\n In presence of Rita Vitorelli and Christian Kobald \u00bb \u2026it\u2019s going to be very informal, talking, drinks, smoking, \u2026 we haven\u2019t decided yet what to do exactely. the only thing for sure is that we want to speak about some \u00bbpop\u00ab aspects of spike. we\u2019ve chosen a very open title for the talk \u00bbFrom these scattered and intermittent efforts \u2026\u00ab, maybe you just speak of your experince as a writer, or what you find interesting with art magazines in general \u2026 this looseness is also very much part of spike, we guess.\u00ab Spike is a quarterly magazine for contemporary art that was founded by the artist Rita Vitorelli in 2004, published in Vienna. All issues presented + various screenings.<\/p>\n Piktogram, the talking pictures magazines, is published in english and polish and is based in Warsaw. (www.piktogram.pl).<\/p>\n Friday 19.12.20087: Gagarin.<\/strong><\/p>\n In presence of Wilfried Huet. Guest: Marilou Van Lierop.<\/p>\n Together with all previous issues, Wilfried will present the magazine\u2019s latest issue (\u2116 17) including exclusive contributions by Aleksandra Mir, Peter Friedl, Sa\u00e2dane Afif, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Lee Bul, Danh Vo, Philip Metten and Adam Chodzko.<\/p>\n It will be accompanied by a screening of Aleksandra Mir\u2019s \u201cFirst Woman on the Moon\u201d (1999, 12\u2019, courtesy Galerie Laurent Godin, Paris) and later on in the night, Apichatpong Weerasethakul\u2019s \u201cTropical Malady\u201d (2004, courtesy Kick the Machine Films, Bangkok).
