Das Törchen [The Gate] (JFLCB 07)

This is the seventh volume of the Jesse Farber Library of Collage Books.
Each volume is a limited edition, full color, actual size reproduction of a handmade original artist's book.

As metaphors go, gates are particularly rich ones, representing the points at which boundaries and thresholds are crossed. We speak of gateways to understanding, to higher consciousness, to Heaven and Hell, and to addiction, for example. Here, it is left to the reader to determine which gate is opening, and where it leads.
