Art Is Not What You Want

“Art Is Not What You Want” is an artists’ book, in which a pure visual communication is presented between the drawings of Dorotej Neshovski and those of the students at his art workshops at the Children Creative Center, YCC-Skopje. In the book, through the transparency of the paper, an entirely different art work is created, one that lives when the drawings overlap, build on one another, or are finished by one another. In that way literally the connection between the Dorotej’s drawings and those of the students, between their interactions and mutual influences is shown.
